How things go sometimes...Broken Arm
I arrived in Charlotte around 6pm to get a text message from Elizabeth saying that Moby had broken his arm and to go to the University hospital. He fell off the bars at Reedy Creek park when his hands got sweaty. How he broke his elbow (the whole bone (humerus), just above the joint on his left arm) is beyond me- it seems to be common enough, and also a "pretty good break" according to all who saw it. If you're really into the details, you can find them here- he got the one with the pins.
So, this was inconvenient, since we all have tickets to fly from Charlotte to LaGuardia and LaGuardia to Dakkar on Tuesday. So now the big question for monday morning is what it will take to switch things around. Could write all about this, but haven't got the energy. The upshot is I did have an interesting business idea while spending the night in the hospital... a way to build an online life history... but perhaps more on this later.
I'm afraid if, in exploring blogging, I write too much, it'll consume too much time and then I won't post as a result. If I can keep things short and sweet, perhaps I'll be more inclined to make it consistent.
